Privacy

This page explains what information syigen.com and research.syigen.com collect, and what Syigen (Private) Limited does with it. It covers our websites only; work we do for clients is covered by our agreements with them.
When you visit
- We don't set any cookies ourselves. Cloudflare, which hosts our sites, may set a security cookie to tell people apart from bots.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Fonts and other files are served from our own sites, so pages make no requests to other companies such as Google. The one exception is the enquiry form's spam check, below.
- Search on research.syigen.com runs in your browser; what you type isn't sent to us.
Our sites are hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the sites from attacks.
When you contact us
When you send the enquiry form, your name, company, email address, the service you chose and your message are emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service. We receive the same details if you email us directly.
Before the form is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're a person and not a bot. It loads only once you start filling in the form, and to do its check it processes information about your browser and device.
Enquiries are kept in our mailbox, which is hosted by Zoho Mail. We use them only to reply and to discuss the work you asked about. We don't sell them or share them outside Syigen, and we keep them only as long as we need them for that.
Your dark-mode choice
If you use the theme switch, your browser remembers your choice in its local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Links to other sites
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, ResearchGate, ORCID, arXiv and doi.org take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send you a copy, by emailing contact@syigen.com.
